Owner and Stylist
Martha Allegro
Martha started her hairdressing journey in 2009 at Heads Up and Bodyworks, before opening and operating Martha's Room in 2020 to focus solely on her own clients and artistry.
In 2024, Martha returned to the house and her old team, ready to lead and grow alongside them. She set to work building Anna Lucia, a calming salon and spa that values Beauty in all of her forms, specifically gorgeous hair, therapeutic Massage, holistic skin services, and traditional customer service.
Martha is committed to assisting her fellow stylists and all of the women who she works with become the happiest, most creative and successful artists possible.
Stylist
Kerri Killoran
Kerri has had the privilege of transforming looks and boosting confidence for over 30 years . Her journey began with a passionate and creative love of helping others express their unique style through hair. Over the years, she has developed her skills in creative highlighting, cutting, styling, glossing and coloring techniques, while staying up to date with the latest trends including Keratin certification. She has invested in advanced education, ensuring that her services meet the highest standards.
Kerri has dedicated herself to mastering the art of hairdressing while building lasting relationships with clients. Her goal is to provided a personalized experience to each client, tailoring to individual needs and preferences.
Stylist
Janet Petkis
Any client lucky enough to have Janet as their Stylist knows what a true gift she is.
Calm, warm and attentive, Janet is talented, loves her work, and is an added energy bonus to any room. Her 35 years of experience sets her apart, and adds to her expertise behind the chair.
Janet's genuine connection and uplifiting energy are among the qualities that make her such a special part of Anna Lucia. She demonstrates a clear passsion and understanding for her clients. The love for her work is evident in every appointment. Janet is known for making her clients feel comfortable, confident, and creating a salon experiance that is both enjoyable as it is beautuiful.
Stylist
Merissia Orlik
With a passion for helping clients feel confident and beautiful, Merissia brings skill, creativity and dedication to every appointment. Having been brought up in a salon with her mother and grandmother both being hairdressers, she developed a deep love for the industry at an early age. Merissia specializes in lived-in looks and precision hair cutting, as a means of enhancing her client's natural beauty and lifestyle. She loves staying up to date with the latest trends and techniques to ensure every guest leaves feeling their best.

Colleen Wurdig
The original owner of Heads Up and Bodyworks Salon and Spa, Colleen is Martha's mentor and kindred friend. Colleen's dedication to providing exceptional service has earned her a reputation as a trusted and talented professional.
As a Hairstylist of over 40 years, she is simply irreplaceable to her many loyal clients!
Massage Therapist
Casey Evans
Casey graduated from Galen Institute in 2004 with honors, and has since explored several modalities. By using a combination of techniques, she is able to provide a massage that is tailored to each client.
Casey has a strong foundation in human anatomy and physiology along with massage therapy. Having spent over 23 years in the gym working with weights and exploring how kinesiology impacts one’s body.
Casey specializes in Hot Stone, and Swedish Massage for those who are looking for a calming massage. For the client looking for something that is more targeted and deeper, she also provides Sports Massage, Deep Tissue and Ashiatsu. Casey also works outside of the spa environment doing Corporate chair massage for in-office events, health fairs, as well as employee appreciation days.

As a dedicated nail technician, I take pride in my exceptional attention to detail and my passion for art. Each design I create reflects my commitment to providing clients with a unique and enjoyable experience. I continuously seek inspiration to enhance my skills and explore new trends in nail artistry.
My goal is to ensure that every client leaves feeling beautiful and satisfied. I look forward to bringing my creativity and expertise to every appointment.
Sound Therapist- Tuned to Wellness
Sheniqua Little
Sheniqua is driven by a passion to empower people through holistic healing. With a background in Holistic Interior Design, she witnessed firsthand how
our environments can drain our energy and wellbeing.While studying design, she discovered the science ofacoustics and the immense influence of sound on the
body and mind. This revelation led her down a path of exploring sound's healing potential.
Over the past 4 years, Sheniqua has dedicated her practice to sharing the
transformative power of sound therapy, helping people return to their natural state which is optimal wellbeing rather than the constantly stressed state modern life often thursts on us.

Junior Assistant
Libby Wolff
Libby is a Junior at Ellington High School, and helps out in the Hair Studio as a Junior Assistant at Anna Lucia. Her free time is often spent playing volleyball, horseback riding, and making jewerly.
Libby intends to attend Cosmetology School after she graduates, and we consider ourselves very lucky to have her excitement and hardworking, upbeat attitude in the shop
Front Desk
Heather Parker
As part of Anna Lucia's Front Desk Team, Heather helps coordinate appointments and ensure every guest has a positive experience. Known for her friendly and helpful nature, Heather enjoys getting to know clientele by making sure they are comfortable and taken care of. Heather brings a welcoming presence and warm energy to our daily salon operations.
Digital Coordinator
Rachel Doherty
Previously starting at the front desk, Rachel combines her passion for beauty with her creativity and background in marketing. With a Bachlor's degree in Business from Central Connecticut State University, she brings a fresh and creative perspective to the salons branding efforts.
Rachel enjoys content creation, client engagment, afinding new ways to showcase the genuine talent and personality that make the salon special. She has continued to expand her marketing knowledge through certifications in Social Marketing, Canva’s Visual Suite, and Inside LVMH.
Through the past seven years of working in the beauty and personal care industry, she has brought a unique eye for detail to the salon's operations.
